Many eBay sellers mistakenly describe the orange spade on the WESTBROOK as red. ted reminds us it is orange. Not red.

Your CROWN DUKE should be a push stem tampon filter pipe. The WESTBROOK for most of its existence was an Ajustomatic screw stem with a metal cleaner insert. So a stem from a WESTBROOK should not readily replace one on a CROWN DUKE.

The only pipe I am aware of that has a red spade is Linkman's 50 GRAND. And it is quite small and different from other DG spade emblems.

I had this one in my hands before I sent it off
It was a push stem
and it does say crown Duke Dr Grabow on the left side and imported briar on the right

that's what threw me
It is a bent pipe and the first joint of my index finger will go into the bowl

Sounds like it could be a #47 CROWN DUKE, Dave. Large bent billiard. You lucky guy!

I had no idea what it could be or how rare

Now I'm glad I sent it to be cleaned instead of doing it myself lol
