Bob Runowski, master blender and burley-o-phile sent me a 2 oz. sample of his new blend Riverboat Gambler. Read the descript Frenchy, RJ, Dr....
If it sounds "up your alley", I'll divvy it up and send some out...
Riverboat Gambler- Corniel & Diehl
Riverboat Gambler: A Runowski/(Craig)Tarler blend. In the tradition of the mysterious Mississippi riverboat gamblin' men, a flavorful blend of the South's tobaccos—Burleys, Virginias, and Perique—with the exotic taste of Turkish leaf. The odds are with you when you smoke this blend.
2 oz tin $10.50 8 oz tin $30 1lb tin $50
My guess is the dose of Perique is tasteful, and the Va.s are Tasty. The verdict is out on the Turkish Leaf as I have not popped the tin....

I'm a little late finding this, but I enjoy trying just about anything new, especially if I don't have to buy a 14 oz. tin to just sample something. I have my old standbys, but I do like to bust out occasionally and experience something that I have not tried. --RJ--
