Nothing better first thing in the morning than a good cup of coffee and a bowl of Carter Hall in an MM Spool Cob.  My breakfast of champions.

I like PA in an old Willard in the morning with my coffee. I agree those OTC's are hard to beat first thing in the morning.

I usually start my day with a Home Brew Blend of one type or another, more often loaded with a little latakia, and coffee.

This morning, though, it was a bowl of MacBaren's Symphony that has been in the jar since 1997 thanks to my friend Ronni B of Night Owl Pipe Works up in Nashville. Smoked it in an olive pipe I am testing and with some good Dark Roasted Aribica coffee was a great way to start the day.

That Coastie Cob with the bamboo shank is a beauty. How, or where, did you get that bamboo shank in it?

Most every morning, Carter Hall in my MM Country Gentleman, or my MM Washington cobs. Tis indeed good.

Often, my day starts with a little eye-opener, heart-starter bowl of black or brown twist with a fresh cup of Joe.

Prince Albert or Carter Hall. Either one does me very well every morning along with black coffee. Usually in a MM cob. The tobacco, not the coffee. The bowl ain't big enough for both and it wouldn't stay lit anyway.

The bamboo shank with the brass banding between the shank and stem is what drew my attention to this pipe.  It is made by someone going by the name Plumber's Pipes.  Have never seen another like it, but if I do I hope to be able  to make it mine.  I have 5 cobs and this one is my favorite.
