New member here, I have been lurking for some time and thought I would join the club. I found this site by looking for information on my dad's old pipes. I still haven't found the info I am looking for but I am patient. When I get a chance I will post pics of the pipe in question and see if any of you fellows know its origins. I live in Gypsum Colorado and have been smoking a pipe a little over three years after giving up cigs.
I primaraly smoke english blends but enjoy exploring all different tobaccos. Over the weekend I was browsing the tobaks and pipes at mars cigars and noticed they have DR. Grabow Westbrooks listed as newly found in some dusty box. I ordered five and see what they are like.
My main pipes that I smoke our two well used DG freehands that get most of my attention.
Look forward to chatting here, and thanks OS for the greeting.

Hi Jense, welcome to DGCF, we're glad to have you here. Feel free to post a picture of your Dad's pipes when you get a chance, we'd love to see them and comment on them. Some of us might even make sense!
Also, congrats on the Westbrooks, you're sure to enjoy them. They were very high quality pipes. Search the board for Westbrook and you can get the whole story on them. |

WELCOME JENSE! We look for to chatting with you also. You've already caused my jaw to drop to the floor with your find! I'm not even that interested in WESTBROOKs, but this sort of find is like striking gold and I get excited just hearing about it! --RJ-- |

Hi Jense - welcome to the board. You'll like those Westbrooks. They're nice smoking pipes. I have five of them myself.
