Did anybody else get the mailout from the factory today? I got a shape sheet, an order form and a letter which talked about people not being able to get many different models and shapes from retail outlets. I wonder if our meeting had any effect on this.
One problem - the shape sheet doesn't seem to show a 65. Can't imagine why, there are plenty of them in the showroom. Well, come to think of it, they may only be in the reserve case.

Didn't get anything today, but I'll keep an eye out. It does take forever for us to get any mail out here.

Steve, I didn't but would like to know who signed it. Was it Rick or Mr. Burns?
I think our visit most probably speeded up the process. We proved to Rick that there is still a market for things other than Grand Duke and Little Duke. I hope this turns into a pleasant surprise for Grabow.
I'm trying to imagine why the #65 is absent (other than just an oversight) and don't have a clue. It was inexpensive to make and we had the oval bit in ABS. Possibly they have used up the bits but since the 1373 bit was used only on this shape I can't make that work either.....ted
I just looked back at their web-site and there are no #65's there either.. |

Wasn't in my mail today, but now you have me looking forward to the mail tomorrow! Maybe it will be there.

I guess we, or at least I, will have to put my money where my mouth was and get a couple of things, at least, from the mailing. I hope it offers a bit more than the chart and offering I got in July of '08 -- like maybe at least one something "special"! --RJ-- |

Well, this is great news, I'll buy some pipes direct from the factory! _________________ BWThomas |

Ted, it wasn't signed at all - just had the company name at the top and the address and phone numbers at the bottom. There is also some language in it about the prices going up October 1, so we are getting advance notice of the price increase, which seems like a good thing.
I think the shape chart and the order form are the same material we got at the factory, just the letter is different. If you all don't get one in the next few days, let me know and I'll scan it and post it. |

Thanks Steve. I tried to "sign up" early and seems as if I had trouble. If you've gotten yours, and I'm on next day delivery from Sparta, I must have missed..
Post the S/C if you don't mind...Thanks...ted |

Received mine in today's mail. Yippeee!
Looks similar to the previous IPAL offer. Wish it included a wider list of options, but understand IPAL's inventory limits this type of mail-out offer. Still hoping they will see the value of offering limited editions under their Specials web site. That could be a great place to offer pipes they have in the factory display.
I encourage everyone to place an order. If we don't support this outreach, who will? |

Still didn't get mine yet. Just my luck -- they'll run out of pipes before I can even place my order! --RJ--
