This is not really a trade per se because I don't care about getting anything in return.
I have about half a tin of Penzance that I won't smoke any more of so if anyone wants it, let me know. It's pretty dry, but I just smoked a bowl of it and it's fine. First come, first served.

Okay, 17 people have seen this, so if no takers by this time tomorrow, I'll post it on CPS.
I figured some of you English hounds would jump right on it. |

Why don't you like it Steve? I've never tried it. After you posted the offer I went to read some reviews on it. They range from hate to love for this blend.

Barry, it is just a little too much latakia for me. I find that I like the smooth, less "edgy" English blends best, GL Pease Caravan is a good example, or Sam Gawith Squadron Leader. Penzance definitely does have its followers, though. It's definitely a good quality tobacco.
I think I may have developed some kind of sensitivity to tobaccos with a high percentage of latakia - Star of the East gives me a headache everytime I smoke it. |

Thanks to Steverino I got to try it
I got it this morning and it was a little dry to suit me
But I filled a Grabow Duke about half full and lit it up
One light and it burned all the way to the bottom
Since it was raining here I set it in a container on the porch and let it moisturize
Then I loaded a piccadilly pipe up and put fire to it
One light and it burned to the bottom of the bowl with no problem
With the first couple puffs i got a flowery type of taste it was lite but there for me
Then the virginia's and orientals that reminded me of early morning pipe kicked in with the lat in the forground
About 1/4 down the bowl the lat faded to the back ground and the sweet virginia's and orientals took over
This tobacco was sweet to me and usually I dont care for lats but this one for some reason appeals to me
After half a bowl the real tobacco taste set in and it became a very smooth velvety smoke with real tobacco taste to me
Many wont agree with this review which Im not very good at but all I can do is describe what I tasted as I smoked it
Thanks again steverino _________________ Dave

Very good review Dave, it bears witness with what I've experienced with Penzance. Hope you continue to enjoy it.
