I thought I would post this link for anyone who may not already be familiar with it. It is a good little reference showing examples of the various pipe tobacco families. It is certainly not all-inclusive, and isn't meant to be - just examples of typical blends in those families.

Also note that this web page is just a part of a larger web site called "Tobacco Aging, Storage and Cellaring FAQ". It should prove interesting to explore. Just click on "home".

| Very interesting. I'm not sure I would have considered Frog Morton to be a 'flavored' blend. A good resource to give to new pipe smokers looking to try and find what kind of tobacco they like. |

Yeah, and I've never thought of Squadron Leader as an oriental, either. I just thought it was a plain, light English (same with the Frog). If I ever get the chance to talk to Mike and Mary McNeil, I'm going to ask them what Frog is flavored with and see what they say. |
