I have a Big Pipe that I bought on ebay probably two years ago.  It was unfinished, as if someone had taken it out of the factory before completion.  I have not smoked it a great deal but the smokes I've had from it have been just fine.

I had a Big Pipe six or eight years ago and it smoked quite well although it was larger than I preferred at the time. I cleaned it up and gave it to a friend who smoked cobs and he thought it was such an eloquent pipe he wouldn't smoke it. Set it on his mantel in a rack and admired it but as far as I know he never filled it with tobacco or put a match to it. Can't imagine owning a pipe I don't smoke with the exception of some hi-end collectibles that I run into once in while. Admire them until I can sell them at a good price. Otherwise I smoke almost everything I get my hands on, for sure any that go into my personal rack.

I've got a straight blond that I picked up this summer and I really like it. Now I need a bent big pipe to go with it. .

I like them and smoke them in rotation, but usually when I have a big block of time for a LONG smoke -- they hold quite a bit!  --RJ--

Occasionally see an older one NIP on eBay, but the factory did have several in their display case for sale, which is where I obtained mine two years ago.  Can't really say what was in the display case this last year as my attention was totally diverted to the "back room" . . .  --RJ--

Just got my Big Pipe a couple of weeks ago.  For obvious reasons, its my favorite and smokes wonderfully.  Believe it or not, I really enjoy Captain Black in it.
