Another Example of 'Nanny' Governmenthttp://www.military.com/military-...d-dod-ban-smoking?ESRC=miltrep.nl
I smoked all day every day of the 22 years I spent on active duty and never missed a single minute of duty. Although smoking became more and more restricted as the years went on, nobody was stupid enough to try to ban it completely. I don't know exactly where this is headed, but I don't like the trend. Last time I checked, every soldier, sailor, airman or marine was of legal age and able to make his own decisions about life.
I wouldn't want to be the bureaucrat who tried to enforce this policy on a platoon of grunts just returned from a long patrol in 'Injun' Country.
