Years ago, and I'm talking decades, BR was a ribbon cut that tended to burn too hot & fast for me. If they have changed to a flake it might be worth another try.
It used to be a UST product and they marketed it alongside DG.

I feel old enough today. Don't make it decades.
Mike, I smoked BR for probably 25 years. Rum (Don't guess that's available today). The problem I had was SOOOOO many stems. Felt like I threw away a half a bag every time.
I feel a lot like Dr. B...Whisky was ribbon cut, burned hot, a bit like smoking Jack Daniels straight. My tongue has healed and now it's SWR and CH.
Welcome to the forum. I'm glad youre here....ted

BR Whiskey was the first tobacco that I smoked. I remember it burning hot and the tongue was terrible. If it is different today I may try it again.
