CAMO Viscounts!!??Have you guys seen these two on eBag? I've never seen any like these!!

I'm glad you posted those! I put the second one on my watch list and kinda figured they were a home job. Was debating to ask the question if they were factory made.....  ....Gotta be homemade...  I'm so confused!

Guys....Never...through 91', and most probably, till Lane took over, were these sold this way from the factory......OS....You could make these in your sleep...Take a Grabow Color, a sanding wheel with a VERY,VERY,VERY slight irregularity in it, and sand the pipe.....Green and Yellow make camo......Red white and blue make patriotic...or Christmas...........What does orange make?
We did try this at the factory. I believe it was a Gracen idea when sales of color hit bottom........To my knowledge, none escaped......ted

Wish the pictures were better! In places the second color looks brushed,in others it looks like it may have been air brushed. Either would be easy to do.Don't think I'll do it to any of my painted pipes!!

Actually, I bid on one and am watching the two I found. Seller makes it sound like they are original, but TED thinks they are not, at least up to a point in time.
They ought to appeal to the currebt military folks or woodsmen, hunters. I've already been outbid and I doubt if I would go much over the $10 to $12 range. --RJ--

The dark one went for $31.04!  I gave up once it went over $10.
Did pick up a little beut-a Delux that looks unsmoked with the original sock for $6.49(shipping included!)  will post pic's when I get it!

I gave up on the two camos, also -- I think sam ebidder snagged them both. Seller got a good price for his pipes, depending on how much work he did to apply the camo.
I was watching a miniature DeLuxe, but got busy and forgot to put in a bid before the auction was over -- may be the one you mention. Had an OLD sock. Nice item that I am sorry I missed, but I miss a lot of things because I am a last second sniper when I remember or am available to do it. I've got about 400 Grabows, so it's not like I HAVE TO HAVE another pipe to feed my PAD. Well, maybe . . . --RJ--

Yep! That was it. I was as interested in the old sock as I was the pipe. I have ONE of those miniatures and someone said there was a set of FIVE. It might have been one of the other shapes and that was the interest there.
Anyway, congrats on the auction win of a nice pipe! Let us know exactly what that pipe is when you get it! --RJ--
