You've probably already reamed out the flue hole, but also be sure and clean out the area in the shank where the cleaner goes, if it still has the cleaner (I use a drill bit and Q-tips for that).  That is an area that is often totally ignored in old pipes and it can get quite a build up around it.  It will tend to draw less freely than a filter pipe in many cases anyway and may have to have the bowl packed a little looser.  --RJ--

I ran a drill bit into the shank and cleaned it

seems like the hole in the stinger was awfull small so i ran some wire up in it and it cleared

Thanks for the info

That would've been my next suggestion as sometimes the way the groove was ground into the cleaner causes it to close up a bit or doesn't cause a sufficient enough opening.  Once you get it tweaked, it should perform well and up to YOUR expectations.  --RJ--
