Anybody hear when the Dr. G. site is supposed to be on line? Checked this evening,still says "coming soon" !! How long does it take to build a website? Question

I was just thinking this this morning. i used to check for it every day since spring. I was thinking April. 6 Months. Shit. They don't seem too comitted to the pipe, maybe they have tampers.. err pokers in other fires.

But this member of the Forum has given up on it.

Why buy a new pipe from can them anyway when you can get one more collectable, and therefor of more valuable, and defineatley better produced for half the money on eBay.

I'm sticking with Estates pipes. they can kiss my economic stimulus package if they don't like it.

Did I hold anything back?

Tell us how you really feel SD!! I agree with you on buying estate pipes!! The only new DG pipes I have have came from Ebay!! I might buy from Dg if and when they get a site up and running!!

Professional Networks is the "logo" on the "still waiting" page. They are in Galax VA. which is about a 15 minute ride from Sparta. I know of them, and they have done some really "spiffy" stuff. They charge $600 to create the page, and $9.95/mo to maintain it.

Must be the cost?.....or the distance?

I would have been "on their butts" every day till it was finished. Just because, without it, Grabow will dry up and blow away......

Ted,as a former DG employee you might have some stroke with them? Maybe you could call Sparta and tell them to get after those people to get that site up and running!! we are getting tired of waiting!

OS...I have about as much "pull" with Grabow today as my Granddaughters hamster. I have never met Jim Burns, and his manager and I are only cordial (on the golf course).....even though I hired him.......Someday, maybe, I'll get a chance.

Can't speak for Ted's side of the mountains, of course, but our weather has been totally screwey for about three years now. It shouldn't be so cold here yet, but today it hasn't gotten above 40.

I E-mailed the folks who are supposed to building the DG site. This was the response. Hi Ed,
