Hello from AZHi all, not new to pipes but new to Dr Grabow pipes. I just got my first, and estate Crown Duke prince as a gift from a friend and it won't be my last. I can't believe how good of a smoker it is.
I've been wanting to collect older American pipes, but tried Kaywoodie's and didn't care for the stinger. I like the fact I can smoke my Grabow w/o the filter. I also have a few Custombilt's, and am always on the lookout for more. But they're kind of big, and I like a smaller pipe so Dr Grabow's are perfect.

Hi Brandon, welcome from another new member. Congrats on your pipe, I got a Crown Duke prince myself recently. Have not cleaned it up to smoke it yet though. Hope you enjoy yours.

I like the filters over the stingers and use the filter because I like the draw more so than I care about the dryness. Plus, I figured if thats why they made them, thats how Ill smoke them. Then, there's the odd "regular" pipe which I like most of all.
Especially a straight Grain DG Bulldog I own.
I agree and often times overlook, bowl size is a HUGE reason I love the DG's
