I'M BACK!!! FINALLY!!Finally got away from that nuke plant in Illinois!! Just in time as the weather was starting to get to cool for me! Got in about 2AM this morning.Could not sleep( been working 730 PM to 0530 Am for last month) so I fired up the computer and hit Ebay. Watch list now has 45 items and have bid on 4. Pipes of course!! The wife was hoping that a month away from the computer(!!!!) would cure me of my obsession-she was wrong! Also went to pipesandcigars.com and ordered 2 lbs of tobacco!! I think I may have missed a couple of PM's,if so, wasnt meaning to ignore anyone. SD- Bucko is Great! Ted,did you get your tamper? Grabow Guy,didnt we have a trade going?? Hoping the wife does'nt have to long of a "Honey-Do" list as I am looking forward to getting back into my shop and workin' on some pipes and tampers!

Yes, thanks for mentioning it, I ran across his probably a year ago (has it been up that long?) and was glad to find it as well. The early history section was something I had not seen before.

Gig,when it comes to bidding I usually take no prisoners if it's a pipe I really want!!  But,would not knowingly bid against you-unless it;s a pipe I really want!!Ha!! You can take comfort in one thing though,I aint looking to much for Westbrooks,although I'm always looking for Dukes to add to my rotation!! I have mainly been looking for the old Linkmans Dg'S and Eldorodos and StarFires and Brywycks(my new love) and Viscounts and Color Dukes and Royaltons annnnnnnd!!! Also have lately came to like Author shapes and bent bulldogs,although may have to fight SD for those!!! Now that Ebay hides user ID's it is hard to know who you bidding against!! We can only hope that there are enough to go around!! Good luck!!
