Until today, I couldn't quite place why I loved these pipes so much. Yes, I love black pipes, love thin wall pipes that are perfect for caking (never cracked one yet). Love the sandblast, love that they're not burdened with an excess of laquer, love the look of brass, they smoke great, they are light, they are the quintessential size and shape....

But there was something more Exclamation

I realized yesterday, its the balance! I'd say 30-40% of the weight are in the brass stem extension resulting in PERFECT balance found only in qualtiy knives and guns. Perfect balance!

I also have a Collector pipe, and it is one of my favorites.

I think I got mine at a WalMart for around $10.

That's the pipe im thinking of getting! You don't see many Grabow Sandblasts
around and with a brass band even, ahh yes!
