MastersenI've been looking for pipes made in Israel. I came across a couple of Mastersen pipes. I searched for Mastersen here on the site but for whatever reason I couldn't isolate the posts. Could anybody enlighten me on these pipes, please? Recommeded or not and why. Thanks.

Mastersen was made in Israel by the Shalom factory. They were made for Brown & Williamson as a redemption pipe for their SWR tobacco from the late 60's till mid 70's. Shalom also made an Andersen freehand that Mastercraft sold as it's own brand. Same pipe...a bit different finish.
They aren't hard to find, and the prices are all over the place. Don't pay too much for one that's not in good shape.
I smoked several of them, and was always satisfied with them...ted
