New acquisition!Since I joined here my Grabow collection/rotation is growing!
My first Grabow was an Omega. I like the military style bit and it smokes good.
My second Grabow is a Savoy bent. Smokes well too.
My latest acquisition is a Grand Duke. My wonderful wife was at the pharmacy filling a prescription, and while waiting she was browsing the store. She noticed up front behind the counter they had a lone Grand Duke on shelf. Knowing how much I enjoy my pipes she picked it up for me and all I have to say is wow! Out of the previously mentioned Grabows and a few other basket briar/brylon pipes I own, this one by far smokes the best! I'm not a huge fan of straight pipes but this one holds easy, and smokes very very well!

I'll second that! Since I smoke only filter pipes,about half of my rotation are Grand Dukes!!

Goodness, now we may have another eBay competitor for Duke pipes. Yes, the Dukes are great smokers. I didn't like the filters at first. But I've changed my mind. They don't gurgle. They don't get wet inside.
There is more resistance, but I pack my bowls very loose, so I don't mind the draw change. Once you enjoy a G Duke that costs a few dollars, you may find it difficult to justify paying 10X as much for a pipe.

I'm currently checking eBay for an older "Adjustomatic" Duke. All three of my Grabows are newer. I think its time to check out the older estate variety of them. I think I'm starting to like straight pipes.

There are no metal cleaner Ajustomatic Dukes. The various Duke pipes have always been tampon filter pipes.
Eventually DG discontinued all Ajustomatics. Either they dropped the line of pipes or they switched it to tampon filter. I've no explanation for their motive. Perhaps to reduce costs, or to standardize their trademark.
Anyway, EAM, if you want to collect Ajustomatic DG you should look at Eldorado, Viscount, Starfire, Regal, Commodore, Westbrook, or the rare Emperor. An attractive compromise is the Ajustomatic tampon filter pipe. If you want one of these you should look for Golden, Silver or Color Duke, or the more rare Berwyck.

Nice, looks like you picked up some good pipes. I really enjoy the Omega myself.
