Pacer and Falcon

Tom sent me this beautiful unsmoked Pacer, and I got the #4 Falcon from Joe.  Thanks to both!

Piffyr

Is that an aftermarket bend on that Falcon? The #4 I have is straight.
Oldredbeard

Beautiful set Mike. I really like the pacer. I have a bent Falcon, but haven't snagged a Pacer yet. Congrats sir.

I do not know.  It's the first bent American made Falcon I've ever seen.  If it's aftermarket, it was done very well.

Nice duo indeed.  I am not totally familiar with the American made Falcons. Not a whole lot of those left around any more either.  That said, the UK made ones include much steeper bends than that. [/img]

Those are SLICK...  Great duo...

Tony Pringle probably knows more about Falcons than anyone oneaqrth. His website  http://www.smokingmetal.co.uk  has a wealth of information on falcons (and virtually any  other metal pipes made). Nice catch

I bet "Metal Mike" is on a first name basis with Tony!

Yeah I've been talking quite a bit with Tony for awhile now.  I think the first time was a couple years ago. Thanks for the suggestion Al.  When it comes to metals, he is the man!  Metal Mike, that's a great idea for a username!  I may have to use that...

I know at one time he was trying to collect all the stampings (manufacture locations) of falcons. He's the first one to tell me abour Kirsten corn cob holders . Good luck

I think he said he had 120 Falcons with different mould stampings.  Shocked

I like his logo : Wealth Warning: Collecting can be seriously addictive

Sweet pipe Michael!   I'm beginning  to appreciate the metal pipes more and more!   I have a few, but haven't smoked them,  yet!

I just choked on some Old Dark Fired Unc. I guffawed.  Also, I promise to not change my name on this forum again. Cross my heart, etc, etc.
