Smokers Pride Relief Grain #69

Here is a  Sparta made Smokers Pride sandblast coupon pipe i picked up a couple of weeks ago. Not really sure of age on these pipes... ABS stem so I'm guessing 1990's-2000 ??

Was in really nice shape , just needed a good clean and some stem sanding.

Smokes really well, and of course i stuff it full of Smokers Pride Rich Taste.

I like it!

I never knew there was a Smoker"s Pride pipe. Its a fine looker and a 69 shape to boot which makes it all the more appealing to me. Good job Troy!

I liked the Smoker's Price pipes better than their siblings because they are non-filter ... nice pipe for sure!

The most i have seen ( which has not been many) were mostly smooth and only came in a about 3 basic shapes from the little research i could find.
69 ( maybe a 36 as well ), 37, and 83.The sandblast ones seems to be less common and it took me a while to find a nice condition 69.
The seller actually had a smooth one for sale as well but i choose to get the sandblast.

Yes ,one of the main reasons i wanted one was because they are a simple push stem.

My WW2 Tru grain, Wimbledon,Smokemaster and Smokers Pride are to be honest my best smoking Grabows because they are all push stems. All but the Tru Grain is a 69 ,although they did not use the 36 # when it was made its the exact same size as my later RJR 36's

Still looking for a SWR 69 to round out the stable.

I like the push bit pipes better than any. Nothing against filter pipes, I just don't use the filters. One of my favorite smokers is a Royalton 45 pot that is a filter pipe. The reason for this post is to give a heads up to the members who are fortunate enough to be able to go on the upcoming Grabow factory tour. On the last trip Ted was kind enough to pick up a couple of pipes for me from the "back room". The only specification I gave him was they needed to be a pot or billiard shape. I was surprised to find two were unmarked 69 size non-filter Royalton billiards! I love these pipes and usually smoke one or the other daily. My advise to the tour attendees is to visit the back room. Definately visit the back room!! Very Happy
