So glad to have found you guys!Yep, another new member to the fourm, and somewhat new to pipes (compared to some others here) I've only been at it about 3 years or so.
I came to pipes when my cigar habit got to be too expensive, being chea..ahh frugal I didn't want to shuck out the big $ on most of the pipes that I saw so you guessed it... EBAY!!! Well you guys have seen the stuff available and the condition they are in for the most part so "Refurbing" was a top prioity, learning how to do that became as much fun as smoking them and I really developed a love for the "old wood".
Buying "lots" on ebay brought me quite a few Grabows and I developed quite a love for them. However, lack of information and respect from other pipers for them led me to Kaywoodies and even more so the Yello boles. So you can imagine I was quite excited when I stumbled across you guys a couple of days ago.
I'm sure I'll take away much more than I offer, but I am hoping to be an active member.
In an effort to offer my Bonna fidies so to speak, and to show off a little, to some folks that will aprecieate them here's a pic of a few of my best smoking Linkmans and Grabows.
The bent bulldog by the way is what a Color Duke looks like if you sand the paint off and wax it. A $1 junk shop find that is one of my best smoking pipes.

tex! Hey, and a hearty welcome. Yes, you are singing our song. The disrespect is unfortunate. They'll say "llike what you smoke, smoke what you like," but they don't take you serious. Unfortuneate really.
You seem to take good care of your pipes. Congrats. Respect your pipes THEY will respect ya back ; ) You also got lcuky on the Bent bull dog. It looks nice without the paint! It looks nice blond.
The forum is give and take. Its a bit slow as we all are taking time to vacation this summer. Thanks for introducing yourself. You'l fit in woth the high percentage of texans Parner!

TEXASHEALER....As SD said, some of our folks are on vacation. They will welcome you when they get back. I have been around "the business" of pipes for a while, but the condition of your Linkmans is astounding. You do good work......as my golfing buddies say.....PRETTY WORK.
