Starfire XO-7Got this Starfire in a trade with a Gent over on SF. I have only one pipe that has better grain than this one-another Starfire. Do I have the shape number right? This is one of the "Continental" shapes right? Ted,do you remember what time span the Continentals were made?

I am in Sparta visiting with TED as I write this and I don't have access to all my materials, but I believe in the retail lines of pipes it would be known as a #22 shape. The X-07 was the designation given to the same shape on the RJR materials. Why the difference, I don't know.
Based on advertising, I have the Continental shapes pinned down to a start in about 1961. TED may know when they began phasing them out. --RJ--

I really wish you could have joined us, too! I think between several of us taking pictures, we have met your criteria of a "bunch" of pictures -- at least I hope we have. --RJ--

Sparta employees had to take two days off because of "flashbulb eyes". They were all too blinded to work because of us....ted
