A few days ago a TV News reporter on the Bolivar Pennisula east of Galveston interviewed a 17-year old boy riding around on a 4-wheeler through the desolation that was Crystal Beach and Gilchrist. The boy was among the hold-outs at High Island.
Today another TV news reporter interviewed the same boy still on the 4-wheeler and still patrolling the pennisula. Turns out he is looking for his grandmother who lives at Crystal Beach. She refused to evacuate. Said he located her car in the east bay. Her house is gone.
