Yea, considering I am out of town at work and away from the computer for a day or two at a time, that should be just about right! Thanks. Let me know who gets it . . . --RJ-- |

Was pokin' around Smokers Forum tonight and saw where a Gent was asking about an Adventurer pipe. Said his has a white dot on the stem!? It is an ajusto. Anybody ever hear of a white dot on a Grabow made pipe?
Mac,I didn't put that pipe on Ebag. If I ever decide to part with it you will get first shot at it! _________________ The only thing shorter than my memory is a certain part of my anatomy! |

Ozark, thanks for the guidance. That one in the picture has a silver coloured band just like mine. Thanks again,

Pete, you're welcome.Yours is only the third Adventurer that I've heard of. Mac's pipe does not have the white dot like yours. Would like to know why some had it and some didn't. Hopefully some info on these pipes will surface some day. _________________ The only thing shorter than my memory is a certain part of my anatomy! |

Ozark, I don't think anyone will ever really finish the job of tracking down every Dr G made or the many variations. I keep seeing new ones up there on Ebay, and I notice some have little shields on them as well as the spades, for example. I have seen red, yellow, blue and white spades, and have no idea what they all mean.
I think I read somewhere that Adventurers might have been coupon pipes, but who knows. May have imagined it.
Best

There are a lot of different logos and emblems on Grabows! There has been quite a lot of discussion on them if you can find it or maybe DrB,Mac and Ted can expound on them. Need a sticky about the various markings!!
