Hey guys,

No pics but I just got a letter in the mail from IP&A saying that they are offering a special D-Day Memorial line. Smooth bent and straight, stamped Utah ($34) and rustic bent and straight, stamped Omaha ($33).

They will have vulcanite stems and a grey, soft, velvet bag. They are stained with a unique, light reddish-brown stain.

Unless I missed it, it doesn't say if they are adjusto or filtered.

The letter urges you to visit the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA... been there... it's a nice memorial.

That's cool Sean!  Thanks!  If anyone gets photos of those, I'd like to see them.

Sounds cool! Especially the rubber stem! Guess I need to check the mail to see if my letter is there.

If not, it should be soon. Very Happy

I was at the computer when our mailman knocked on the door and handed Izze the mail. She said, "You got something from International Pipe and Accessories?" I said "Gimme, gimme, gimme" Laughing Before Mike had gotten back in his truck, I was starting this post. Laughing I got too much time on my hands... I need a hobby... oh wait... I have one... Laughing

Still nothing in the mail. I used to get their offers.I would be interested if the shapes were right. Something available during the WWII time period. Especially if it was an ajusto or even a push bit.

Very cool.  If they send these out to some vendors (i.e. WVSmokeshop)...I think they'd sell like hotcakes.

Welcome to the forum Bubbagumpshrimp. Glad to have ya!

Unfortunately, while you may very well be right, their letter says that they will only be available to the mail order customers.

If you get a moment, slide over to the introduction thread and tell us a bit about yourself. I'm sure everyone would be happy to give you a warm DGCF welcome. Very Happy
