Sorry about the way they flubbed up your order Wes. I only have one Royalton 45 or I would sure trade you. I have a Royalton billiard Ted picked up for me at the factory and its a super good smoker. You would probably like yours too, but I know how it is when you don't get what you pay for. Maybe you should call them about three or four times a day and raise billy hell till they make it right. This sucks.

I'm going to call them today. I'm sure they'll make it right. I'll be happy with a Golden Duke 45. I just don't want to pay to send everything back again. But like I said, I'm sure they'll make it right somehow.

Wes, If you get any 'stagger' out of this, send them back to me and they will be fixed correctly at no charge..

If you haven't called.. ask Deb to look for a 45 or 49 on the board in the lobby. You might get lucky.

I don't want this to become a 'fuss' at the factory thread, but I had 6 pipes stamped for Carl and they were so bad that I was embarrassed to send them back. I was specific about the stamping (with a note in each bowl) and they still managed to screw it up. They were horrible.... No recourse.

And yet, this morning I picked up a Viscount #85 that had broken with aluminum in the shank and stem. It was repaired perfectly with a vulcanite stem.

These type things embarrass  me even though I don't have a thing to do with the factory... my name is associated with it and they should do better..  tom

Yeah, I know they can do better and I'm sure they will. I know repairs are not their main focus and for all I know these could have been boxed up before they were finished by accident. But, dang... I had high hopes for these 4 pipes and not a single pipe came back correct.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this thread. Our oldest son had pneumonia and then after he got better my wife got strep.

I finally got a chance to sit down and call Dr. Grabow yesterday. Had to leave a message, but Debbie called me back within an hour and apologized and said those stems never should have left the factory and she put me on hold and went and found me a Royalton 45. I'm sending the pipes back today and I'm sure they'll come back just fine. Thanks Tom for offering to help.

Glad to hear that they worked it out for you, Wes. Spit just happens sometimes. It's unfortunate, but true. What really matters is that the company was willing to step up and make it right. That's good service in my book.

Yep, I was disappointed, but I had faith.

I'm glad to hear Deb's response.  The factory has never left me high & dry...ever.  Thanks for sharing this follow up, so that other guys (especially newer members) aren't afraid to work with the factory.

Let us see when you get your 4 pipes back please!

Alls well that ends well. Glad you got things fixed and glad you were working with a company that would make things right. Not easy to find these days.
