Mostly showing the pipe, but since I have before pics...it goes here.

I bought it so quick that I did not even catch that it was the wrong stem until it arrived. Smile Instead of replacing it with a saddle, I cut the barrel down a bit more to make it register properly, and then put a bend in it before getting rid of the oxidation and other issues.

What do you guys think of the stem? I can replace it, but I think it works pretty well.

Check the ring grain on this beauty!

That's some awesome grain, and I think the stem looks great in it. Nice pipe all the way around, Congrats Joe.

Looks great just as it is...  Don't think I'd change a thing.

If I changed anything, it would just be to get someone to clean it up really well.  Laughing  Laughing

I agree!  You did a great job on fitting the stem!  It looks original!  And that ring grain!  Wow!

LOLOLOLLOOOLOOOOOLOLOLLLOLOL. I snorted some beer out my nose on this comment. Beautiful pipe. DO. NOT. CHANGE. THE. STEM.

Looks great !!! But if it were me i would get the correct stem .

That's a pretty uncommon if not rare pipe and i think being original would be the best .

It's hard to beat the clean up the Joeman puts on a pipe. So I had to......you know.
