Hi folks,

Does anyone out here smoke this blend? I do at the moment but can only do so in a MM corn cob pipe as in a briar it's terrible. The cob takes away that chemical taste which shines through in a briar pipe and makes it palatable. If you like strong cherry blends this may be for you Smile

I have not smoked this particular blend and have not had much luck with cherry blends in general, or any aromatics for that matter. I do like Middleton Cherry blend because it is a burley forward old fashioned blend but it only has a faint hint of cherry. The best of the few others I have tried is Peter Stokebye Cherry Bon-Bon. It does not have the horrid chemical taste some cherry blends have and it has somewhat of a chocolate taste to boot.

I smoked several tins of BRM and it 'wore' on me. I just didn't care for it anymore.

My choice for a little cherry now is Lane Dark Red. To me its more than just cherry.
A little caramel and vanilla come through. td

BRM has not worn on me yet.  However, the Dark Red is good, good stuff.

I smoked a couple of bowls of BRM at Tom's last year and really enjoyed it. I don't usually do aro's anyway, so I knew there was no need in ordering any.
