I've got some interesting ones up this coming weekend - an 02A Churchwarden

a old DG Supreme

a Linkman DG Deluxe

a Linkman Old London

a Ringmaster Oom Paul - I don't know for sure if this is a Linkman

A Golden Duke Rhodesian

As well as a couple of more 'mundane' DG's.

Check them at at www.irishlefty.com

I borught this one up in another thread.  It's interesting that it is not stamped Linkman, yet it does seem to have the same RED SPADE Linkman used on his FIFTY-GRAND line of pipes, and RINGMASTER was a name that he seemed to have resurrected right before he sold the Dr. Grabow name.  --RJ--

Glad you posted that Duke, I was just in the process of bidding on it myself. I'll back off.

Yeah, the churchwarden definitely grabs one's attention, doesn't it!  I'm not bidding on it either, got a couple of others in the sight right now.  Plus I just bought another Pete, so gotta lay low for a while.

Looks like everything that is worth going after has a bid on it. And everything that looks interesting that doesn't have a bid on it...has a rubber bit hiding a chewed up stem Crying or Very sad

Gotta admit I hate it also when you can't see the tip of the stem.  Can't tell you how many lots of pipes I've purchased that ended up junk because of deceptive photo's - hiding holes in stems, showing only the side of the bowl that doesn't have a large crack down the side of it etc.

What really bugs me is when supposed 'pipe' guys do the deceptive thing.  You would think that those of us who really love pipes would at least be honest about the items we sell but it doesn't hold true.

I would hope that any of my customers who think I misled or was in any way not fully disclosing flaws would hold my feet to the fire and let me know. I try not to do those things but sometimes I can make mistakes and sometimes I may not realize that I overstate/understate the item.

I'm really curious about this one. I won this one yesterday. The reason I went for it is that when I was in the first grade, living in West Park, PA, there was an old gentleman that walked the cobblestone ally behind our house smoking a pipe just like this. He used the pipe as a cigar holder.

Having cleaned it up for sale on e-bay I can attest that whoever owned it before smoked it frequently - it was well caked and the stem was a bear to clean!

It certainly is a solid one.  I'll be interested in what you think after you've smoked a few bowls in it.

I was trolling through old posts and came across this one.

After I received this pipe, smoked it a few times, nothing really was all that great in it. I smoked some CH and some SWR. I gave it the salt/alcohol treatment and have let it sit for quite some time.

Stokkebye #17 Luxury English is what's burning in it now. I think that this is what this pipe was made for. Perfect draw, the bowl is just the right size to give a long slow near English smoke. Definitely a keeper.
