RJ and I did some "consolidated" buying on ebay. We bought 16 pipes. He got several old Linkman Grabows, and I got several that went directly into my rotation.
Three of them are doing nothing but laying around. They are.. Demuth Guardsman small apple...a Demuth Hesson Guard medium pot...and a Frank Medico mushroom. I started working on the Frank, but found a 3/4 inch patched crack at the top, so I quit.
Anyone want them, they are yours for the asking.

Ed, Since you seem to be the only taker I'll box 'em up next week.
All 3 seem to have non-vulcanite bits. The pot will be really nice(I think) after refinishing. Demuth started making pipes in 1880, so these may be real "jewels"......I think not...
I re-measured the crack in the mushroom (neat shape) and it wasn't quite 3/4......11/16".....Enjoy 'em.....ted |

Of course, I wasn't interested in the pipes, but it continues to amaze me how much stuff gets posted that I either never find or find way later. I try and check everything out and even use "view posts since last visit" and still things escape me! Oh well, it keeps things interesting! --RJ-- |

Ted,got the pipes yesterday. The WDC's are kinda interesting. The Hesson Guard has a weird stinger! I really like that little Medico, even if it is cracked. Doesn't seem to go all the way through. Thank you!
