My favorite pipe is angry. It's an old Linkman Lovat. Not as old as the one I just got with the Prop/Shield on it but old. I smoke it sometimes as if it's the only one I own. I smoked it allday yesterday. This morning I grabbed it off the rest, to enjoy with  PA, the Paper & Coffee. After I finished, I ran the paper into the house. Came back out and dropped the pipe into a Luxury Pouch of PA to load.(awaiting the winter TAD)When it was nicely packedI set it on the rest. While doing so I looked at it- Shocked THE SPADE IS GONE! Shocked
I looked all over -it's gone! I guess this is my pipe's way off telling me to give it a rest! Rolling Eyes Guess I research the best way to replace it.

To make myself feel better-I smoked my Williard Lovat almost straight the rest of the day, knocking it out on the side of my boot's to empty! Twisted Evil May start calling this one the "Red Headed Stepchild"! Twisted Evil

I've never had a spade fall out, but I have bought pipes that had then missing.  My wife's white fingernail polish did a quick and satisfactory temporary job of "fixing" the condition -- looks good at three hundred yards, anyway.  Other than that, do what Ed says or let Ed fix it!   --RJ--

I appreciate the replies. This pipe is parked in the rack for awhile. I refuse to look at it. May smoke the oval shanked Hillcrest Lovat to keep my mind off of it. Wink
